~Welcome back CVS~

I haven’t been to CVS in probably a month so I decided to stroll on in there today. I was having withdrawals! I quickly realized why I loved CVS so much! I have to admit I cleared the shelf on this deal, I normally wouldn’t do that but I LOVE Listerine pocketpaks! Ok technically I didn’t clear the shelf because I left other flavors just not the cool mint.  I can’t believe there was even any left this is Friday you know!
I looked at the ad at least ten times this week and never noticed this , thanks to another blogger talking about the Listerine I finally saw it said pocket paks too! These retail for $4.49 at CVS and Krogers is at least $3 something. Love love love this deal! I want to go buy my other stores out!

~Last Walgreens Trip~

I ran into Walgreens one last time to finish the scenarios I posted earlier. Its harder to break this trip down because we bought some other things instead of sticking to the plan. I had planned on purchasing the other items separately so I could keep totals on my “plan” BUT couldn’t do that after all so here is what we got.

$10 Celedrin  From 4th trip

$10 Tena Register Reward

$5 Almay Register Reward

*I only got the cottonelle because I thought I would get the monthly register reward but that ended yesterday and I didn’t realize it Sad smile If I would have just stuck to my plan my total would have been under $3 but we both needed sunglasses so this was a great deal for us.*

Now I have $19  RR to roll into next week, I could go back more and do the Celedrin and Tena over and over again but truthfully we don’t need either of those.

Thanks again to Wild for Wags got all the great ideas Smile

~Walgreens Fun~

I feel like I am cheating on CVS because its been all about Wags the past couple weeks!  I decided to try something different this week and follow a scenario Christie came up with over at Wild For Wags . Normally I would not buy something we do not need or will eventually use, however this week I wanted to just try this out for fun and so far everything has worked exactly how Christie said it would.(And I will donate what I don’t use) I have added a few touches of my own to my transactions but I am pretty much going by what she came up with, check out her scenarios. These do take several trips unless you are willing to hold up lines and make cashiers less thrilled to check you out. I am lucky enough to have at least six different Walgreens that I pass along the week, so its nothing to me to go once a day .

I still have one more transaction to do and I will do that one tonight. I have spent more out of pocket then the scenarios at Wild For Wags because I decided to do the Reach for a second time and also had all the Chex Mix but overall I am very pleased so far!
