Target Deals :)

Target had an amazing coupon in their ad this week. $10 off when you spend $50 or more in grocery . The wonderful thing about this coupon is the total just needs to be $50 before coupons, so if you had the right coupons you could come out with a lot of groceries for next to nothing!  Unfortunately all the really amazing deals was stuff we do not eat or I did not have coupons for. But please check out TotallyTarget . She has some really great match ups over there.

When I first looked at the ad I noticed the Annie’s Homegrown  bunny grahams and Honest Kids Juice on sale . My brain immediately went to how can I use the $10 off $50 coupon to stock up on snacks for lily and not spend much money. I spent way to much time Sunday trying to figure it out…too much time.  Eventually I came up with a plan and went to the store. I came out of the store spending more money but with better quality items.

The great thing about Target is you can stack coupons, you can use a Target Coupon and a Manufacturers coupon & A cartwheel coupon all on one item.  An example would be  let say you have a box of cereal. You have a $1 off one box manufacturers coupon & a $.50 off one box Target coupon PLUS there is a 10% one box Cartwheel coupon.  You can use them all!

This was not the best deal especially now see how she rang me up twice for eggs and also just noticed one of my cereals rang up wrong < not sure how that happened when I got the same ones? Since I am just noticing it and its only like a dollar difference I will just forget about it. I also used a $5 gift card I had from another past week to bring my out of pocket down. Im happy with this trip because some of it was Easter stuff and I was able to get the snacks I like for Lily to have relatively cheap.

Try to hand the $10 off $50 coupon to the cashier first, I always put those kind on top of my coupon pile.
