I needed a new cheap litter pan and figured this would be a great opportunity to use some of my coupons that would give me overage. Unfortunately my big overage items were out of stock but I did get to use some of my coupons expiring tomorrow , and I found invitations to Lily's birthday party

Did I need any of this? Nope. I have pretty much put myself on a shampoo and body wash shopping ban. I have so much in my stockpile already I do not need to buy any HOWEVER if I have a free coupon I will not let it go to waste.  The Soft Soap coconut scrub is my absolute favorite body wash and I have never seen it free so if I see it free or a GREAT deal I will jump on it.

This week I was able to stock up on a lot of items we use. Cheese is always a budget buster for me, I never seem to find a good deal on it when I need to so when I see cheese especially singles on this cheap I have to get a few.  My daughter loves those Gerber snacks even though she hasn’t had any in a few months, I figured for that price I would treat her. Vegetables go really fast in my house, I wish I could have gotten more then just corn but they did not have any others we eat so I saved a few of my coupons. The dog bone is for my sister’s dogs

The prices are good plus you get $.05 in pump perks for every 10 you buy (limit two deals). However I did not get the $.05 and had to go to customer service and she said it hasn’t been giving it out correctly so watch your receipts!

~This week’s shopping~

Wowzers!! its been a long time since I got to sit down and type up a post I did a lot of shopping this week, Mainstreet Market is having triple coupons again through Monday. I was very proud of myself for being able to get stuff that was already on my list this week, usually I just stock up on stuff I can get cheap or free, but this time I actually had coupons that worked for the tripling  for items on my list . Walgreens had some great deals too.

 

Walgreens

I have been fighting a cold for  over a week so I was just glancing at the cold and flu section and noticed TONS of clearance! On my first trip I picked up two Walgreens brand Dayquil 20ct capsules on clearance for $1.19 each and to my surprise rang up buy one get one 50% off! So I picked up two for $1.80ish. I made probably two more trips with coupons in hand. I picked up One Nyquil Liquid,one Nyquil Capsules, two Dayquil Capsules. There was coupons in the paper last week for Vicks Products, so after coupons I spent $ 4.75 for all that . That’s cheaper then buying one regular price!

There was also a great deal on soup and Jelly this week.

Campbell’s Chunky Soup is my favorite so I like to stock up when its cheap, regular price is almost $2 a can!
