~Walgreens~ Huggies Deal~

When i found out I was pregnant , I started stockpiling Diapers,wipes,and anything to do with baby that i could. Now that Lily is 3 months I realize i have enough Shampoo and diaper rash creme for a few years.  I have never paid more then $3.00 for a pack of diapers, and so far we have never HAD to run out and buy diapers.Huggies sends out really good coupons ,usually $3.00 off a pack, when you sign up with them. Pampers does too but not as high of a value coupon. Well we were on the verge of running out of our supply of size 1 diapers so we switched to size 2 , but they turned out to be a little to big so I decided to go ahead and take advantage of the Huggie deal at walgreens this week.  

Diapers are on sale for $8.99 and wipes are 2/$5 . Spend $25 get  $5 Register Reward

Here is how the deal worked for me. Remember I get to use the employee discount so prices will vary for you.I had to use 2 filler items so I got Lily two Disney books that were on clearance for $.99.

~Kroger Mega Event~ Part 1~

 Kroger is having the Mega Event this week (and possibly next week?)  and we love  a good deal   so Lily and I packed up the coupons and headed out yesterday.  If you are not familar with the Mega Event,  its buy 10 participating products and get $5.00 off instantly at checkout.  Our Krogers does not have a limit to how many times you can do this deal , but i have heard that other stores do, it may vary.  Unfortunately they were out of some stuff i had on my list, so i picked up some cheap items ( Kraft macaroni and cheese) that were participating in the deal.     Here is what i scored on my first Kroger trip.

So here i am :)

Hi there , I have been thinking of starting a blog for the longest time but didn't really have the guts or the know how. I love to write although i may not be very good at it. So allow me to tell you a little about myself. 

2008 I was laid off from my job at the factory,  I was barely making it and when that happened I knew I would lose my apartment.  Luckily I had been seeing a wonderful man who had already asked me to move in with him, and i knew we were headed there anyway. So  I sold most of what i owned , loaded up my three cats and off we went to Cincinnati.I am the first to say I'm not very fond of  Ohio, but have grown to like it here in our town. I miss Indiana like crazy, its just  a different world.  I was laid off for 5 months until I found a job making less then  i was at the factory, but we survived .February of last year we found out we were expecting and three month's ago my little Lily was born.  This little girl has changed my life forever. Its amazing how in love I am with her.

Now my boyfriend is supporting our three cats, me , and our lily.  I am a stay at home mom determined to help in any way.  I am fascinated with couponing and free samples. This is my way of contributing  to household and also writing out my triumphs and struggles as a new mom.    Thank you for  joining me!
